The local cuisine, like a lot of the Valencian community, specializes in seafood and rice dishes. But don’t forget the many types of local olive oils, fresh citrus fruits, seasonal produce and wines, which are rightfully seen as the pride of Valencia.

Vinaròs is one of the largest cities in the province and capital of the Baix Maestrat administrative district. An important fishing harbour with a rich history and a great tourist destination, Vinaròs lies near the mouth of the river Cérvol into the Mediterranean Sea.
